How long have you been in business?
Our Ministry has now been in Polk County for 8 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Emerge Church is a Church that serves the South Lakeland Community through our various outreaches. Our purpose is to lead the lost to Jesus and into a relationship in his family, teaching them to worship the Lord and developing them into a balanced Christ-like maturity, equipping them for both ministry in the church and in the world.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
This line of Business is a calling from God. I was a successful Professional Photographer and God called me out of that field to Bible School and then into full-time Ministry. You don't just choose Ministry, God chooses you!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I was specifically led by God to start His church and minister here in the South Lakeland area. I did not just choose it. To be effective in Ministry you have to be placed where God wants you or else you just sorta have a Mc Donald's type ministry. All fluff and no substance. (No offence Big Mac)
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Word of Life Worship Center is growing all the time but we have no plans to start other churches throughout Polk County. We do have plans to build a larger church on our Highland City property.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located on SE 8th Street in Highland City. So Bartow Highway either North or South, take either a left or right on Laurel Ave, when you get to 8th Street you will see us because we own a whole City block and have a large sign.
Which areas do you service?
We serve all of Polk County and even have people who drive from Orlando every week to attend our services as well. It's important to be in the right Church and sit under the right anointing as a Christian.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Emerge Church is run by Pastor Daniel. Associate Pastor Kristopher Hay is responsible for daily operations but many fine people help us fulfill the vision God gave us here in South Lakeland.
What are your hours of operation?
School of the Bible 10:20 Kidz Church: 11:00am Sunday Worship 11:00am Tuesday Prayer Team Child care available for our services.
